Our activities showcase our mission statement in providing accessible activities and experiences for adults with Autism and additional needs to improve their physical and mental wellbeing and offer the adults a sense of personal fulfilment and achievement.
We also involve our adults in consultation to achieve activities and experiences that they would ‘love’ to participate in. Our aim is to provide them with new exciting opportunities which either act as a form of therapy or create a new hobby for their future.
Sports Festival and Coaching Project
If we think about it, Sports Day at school was such a fun day with everyone involved enjoying and participating in all activities. Many adults with additional needs still enjoy participating in activities they once enjoyed as a child but because they are now an ‘adult’ they can no longer get involved.
We want to change this!
We have joined forces with Warrington Wolves Foundation to deliver a Sports Festival with follow-up coaching sessions for 100 adults with Autism and additional needs across Warrington.
We will run an old fashioned sports day with the focus on adults attending. The aim of this project is to re-engage the adults in sports and activities, make the programme fun and sociable and link the adults up with local clubs.
We have received funding to date from Sellafield Ltd, Jigsaw Homes, Tesco Bags for Help, Co-op Local Causes Fund and Moto in the Community towards this project. We are seeking funding towards the rest of this project, if you are able to support us please get in touch.
Music & Songwriting
We are passionate about creating opportunities for our adults to explore music and create their own songs. Music is a source of therapy for many people and can ease anxieties and stresses in our hectic lives.
For people with communication difficulties, music can play a huge part in helping them to express their needs and frustrations. It can also be used a coping mechanism in times when anxiety can lead to further health problems.
Our recent Music & Songwriting Project in Trafford which was funded by the Big Lottery Fund was a huge success engaging adults with a variety of additional needs to create their own song.
50 adults joined our project and left with a copy of their own song. This song was also uploaded to Soundcloud for them to share with friends and family to showcase their achievements.

Creating Art for Enjoyment
We have received funding from Cheshire Community Foundation to run a 12 month Creating Art for Expression project for adults over 50 years old with Autism and additional needs in Warrington.
The adults will create a variety of art forms which they can take home with them or gift to friends and family.
This is an exciting project for us and will help tackle isolation and loneliness within this group in society. The adults will also collaboratively create a piece to display in the community.
We also plan to launch an Art Project in Trafford for adults aged 18+.
With thanks to the Cheshire Community Foundation for supporting this project.
